Elena Gonzales, 19, is from Socorro, New Mexico. She became involved with YUCCA after moving to Santa Fe to attend New Mexico School for the Arts. Currently studying nursing, Elena has always had a deep passion for taking care of the lives around her, the lives of generations to come after ours, and the livelihood of the Earth.
