Feleecia, 21-years old, is currently pursuing her studies in General Management and Sustainability at the University of New Mexico. Growing up in the heart of the Sandia Mountains in Sandia Park, New Mexico, she cultivated a deep bond with both her human and non-human relatives, as well as the diverse landscapes, communities, and cultures of her home state. Passionate about environmental justice, Feleecia is an active organizer within New Mexico, serving as a key figure in UNM Leaders for Environmental Action and Foresight (LEAF) and YUCCA. Her commitment to advocacy is unwavering as she strives to amplify the voices of marginalized communities, fighting for solutions that champion environmental justice and collective liberation.
