Jazmín, 19 years old and born and raised in Santa Fe, is a first-year student at the University of New Mexico. With cultural heritage from Aguascalientes, Mexico,  she has worked closely to educate and transform policy within her community in NM. One of her main priorities is to help build a movement that is comprehensive of intersectionality. Having been with YUCCA since 2019, Jazmín has primarily led advocacy efforts in collaboration with other BIPOC youth. Making space for young people and having our voices heard at the forefront of decision-making for a livable future is in essence what Jazmín strives to accomplish.
